Things have changed.

Ok, I’ll admit it, this is one of those whiny, old fart posts. You know the kind that make you realise that you have moved into another demographic.  So what! It’s my blog and I’ll whine if I want to, whine if I want to. You would whine too if it happened to you. Be the first to prove you’re an old fart too and name that song and the original singer (you can say anything because I’ve got no idea).

Anyway, back to the point. I learned to drive a long time ago so obviously things have changed somewhat since then, like for example, I believe you no longer have to know how to fit the harness, or even know what kind of oats to use.

Another thing that seems to have changed is the hand positions, I was taught that the left hand should be at the ‘ten’ and the right hand should be at the ‘two’ (and this should be the case whether it’s daylight savings time or not). But now it seems people are being taught that the right hand should hold the cellphone and the left hand should flip the bird.

In truth I really don’t have much of an issue with this, my problem is in understanding how they can hear the phone ring with their heads stuck so far up their arses! And yes you are right, I’m not having any fun driving here. I want to go home. I want to go where I may not be the only one using the road, but everyone else is in even less of a hurry than me.
